The law
has changed.
There’s a new way.
The law has changed for NSW driver’s licences. If you’re from overseas you may need to sit an exam.
I’ve got you.
Hi, I’m Mark Barclay. Having been a Driver Tester for Service NSW for a long time, I tested many overseas driver’s licence holders as they attempted to obtain their NSW driver’s licence. Yes, the rules have changed from 1st July 2023 and more than ever there is a need for overseas licence holders to get as much information, guidance and training as they can.
I know the issues that applicants can encounter in that process.
I know what you need to do to get there.
It’s all we do.
Book me to prep you now. Call me, message me - the advice and guidance part is free.
What’s changed?
What does it mean for me?
From 1st July 2023, if you’re a tourist or temporary overseas visitor, you can drive in NSW using your overseas licence for up to 6 months as long as you: remain a temporary visitor, have a current overseas licence, have not been disqualified from driving in NSW or anywhere else.
If you’re an overseas visitor and intending to stay in Australia for more than 6 months, call or message us for a chat. We will talk to you about your situation and advise on how the change will affect you and how best to move forward.
Can you provide me with driving lessons?
Absolutely.
